You're going through a tough time.. Imagine how encouraged you would be to receive a letter from a fellow Christian, from the other side of the world, saying they are praying for YOU!
Encourage a courageous child
Alin* is the 8-year-old daughter of Muslim Background Believers, Babir* and Efsan*. They live in a Muslim-majority country in the Middle East where Christians face discrimination.
"I tell my classmates I'm a Christian," says Alin. Her parents are concerned their daughter is excluded by Muslim children, and also children born into Christian families who don't accept her either because her name is not a Christian name. "I really don't have any friends to play with," Alin says.
"We knew when we accepted Christ that our families would reject us," explains Efsan. "But we didn't expect that Christians would not accept us into their communities."
"It's most difficult for Alin," says Babir. "There are no other children like her. I'm proud of her for holding onto her faith, but she is often so alone."
Please pray for Alin as she faces rejection and ridicule every day at school. Pray that God will bring her Christian friends who love and accept her, and that she will continue to follow Jesus as she grows up.
