Open Doors ministers to the needs of the Women of the Persecuted Church around the world. We do this by generating prayer support, participating in writing campaigns and raising funds for training and support. We bring encouragement to persecuted women by visiting them and making their plight known to their brothers and sisters in the free Church.

They need to receive your letters as well as your prayers. For too long, the voices of persecuted Christian women around the world have remained unheard. Now, through Open Doors' new Women's Ministry, we are responding to their cries for help in five key areas:
Many of your sisters in Christ suffer for their faith.
Christian women living in some of the world's most dangerous places are despised, assaulted, disowned, destitute and are risking death for their beliefs.
Women from Open Doors who have met with such women, would like to come and share with the women from your church or Bible study group, to tell you their stories and encourage you to be part of the message of hope God is bringing to His Persecuted Church.
Open Doors provides livelihood and self help schemes so women can support their families when their husbands are imprisoned or martyred for their faith in Jesus.
Your financial support, will strengthen and encourage persecuted Christian women.
Your prayers will strengthen them to cope with their loneliness and grief, finding comfort in God's presence and love. Also finding peace in knowing others, such as you are praying for them
Your letters will encourage them and let them know they belong to the wider Body of Christ.

When I met them and saw how Christian women around the world are suffering, I knew I had to
act. Too often, their needs are hidden.
It's not right that their pain goes unrecognised. Thank you for joining me to help restore dignity and hope to our sisters in Christ.
