North Korea: Pray With Persecuted Christians

North Korea is one of the most dangerous places in the world to be a Christian. Following Jesus in a place like this means risking your life…

One North Korean Christian escapee, Hyuk-Soo, learnt about Jesus through local partners several years ago and trained with our safe house and shelter ministry outside of the country. He was a faithful student who was always eager to learn more about the Bible.

Sources recently shared that Hyuk-Soo was captured by police officers, and now faces imprisonment and torture. They ask for you to pray for his safety and for other prisoners like him.

Our sources have also sent a prayer request for one of our partners, Caleb who helps serve North Korean escapees. Caleb works with our safe house and shelter ministry, making sure that vulnerable believers escaping persecution can receive the emergency relief they need and continue following Jesus.

Our partners tell us that, for security reasons, we can’t share Caleb’s situation in detail. But they have requested that you pray over his health and ministry.

Will you take a moment to pray over these things?

Pray For North Korea:

  • Pray for Hyuk-Soo’s safety and perseverance at this dangerous and uncertain time. Pray for the protection of other imprisoned believers.
  • Pray for Caleb’s healing and for his work with the safe house and shelter ministry.
  • Praise God for the courage and faith of partners working with North Korean believers. Pray that God will bless them and their work.
