Muskathlon

South Korea 2019

In October 2019 Open Doors will be sending a team of Australians to South Korea to run, cycle and hike all while raising funds for the persecuted Church.

South Korea houses tens of thousands of refugees from North Korea, which has been number one on the World Watch List for the last 17 years.

During Muskathlon you will get to meet with North Korean refugees. You will discover firsthand the cost of following Jesus Christ. Yet amidst the stories of persecution, you will see how the light of Christ continues to shine amidst the greatest darkness.

"The week that I spent doing the Muskathlon in Lebanon changed my life and faith. As I ran, I realised that I was running to suffer with the persecuted church, to have but the tiniest glimpse into the lives of Christians in the Middle East."

– Justine, 2018 Athlete & Open Doors Australia Staff
