Open Doors Live Podcast - Episode 67 - How To Be A Courageously Ordinary Christian

As we navigate the end of lockdown, home-schooling and a new world full of debates around vaccines and division even within the Church, how do we stand in the face of culture and shine for Jesus?

In today’s episode, Mike and Joce share three radical stories from the persecuted church and unpack how we can be courageously ordinary followers of Jesus.

In this episode:

  • What is the difference between being the ‘hero’ and being ‘heroic?
  • Read the final letter from a martyred Rwandan pastor.
  • How blogging about Jesus in Saudi Arabia cost Fatima her life.

Jocelyn Goto is an excellent communicator and shares her journey with the persecuted church with humility and authenticity. Jocelyn has travelled with the ministry and is constantly amazed by the faith of believers in some of the most contested countries on the planet.

Bethany Westwood has been the producer of the Open Doors Live Podcast since 2017, and has travelled to the field to meet with persecuted believers in places like Iraq and Central Asia, to bring back stories that encouraged and challenge our faith.
