Pray For Life-Changing Projects To Go Ahead
We’re fast approaching the midpoint of 2019. At this time of year, we always take stock and see where we are at in meeting our commitment to the persecuted church.
We do this to ensure that we can provide persecuted Christians with the life-changing projects that we’ve committed to run.
But our Mid-Year Appeal is about more than just supporting persecuted Christians financially; it is a reminder that we are called to “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” (Colossians 4:2)
We don’t have to tell you, our faithful prayer family, that it’s been a tough year for the persecuted church.
You’ve stood with Sri Lanka in the wake of the worst Easter Sunday attack targeting Christians. You’ve walked with Asia Bibi through her false accusation of blasphemy, her imprisonment, freedom, and escape from Pakistan. You’ve prayed for the underground North Korean church and uplifted Christians arrested in Eritrea.
Persecution is rising around the world, and we need to support those suffering for their faith in Jesus more than ever.
Your prayers make a huge difference for the body of Christ around the world. We are so thankful for the way that you faithfully serve the persecuted church and our ministry.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, we’re already on the way to reaching our target of $1.4 million to fulfil our commitments to the persecuted church and ensure that life-changing projects can go ahead. But we’re not there yet.
Will you commit to praying for Christians suffering for their faith in Jesus, and for our Mid-Year Appeal?
Pray For Life-Changing Projects:
- Praise God for faithful supporters of this ministry (like you!) and the ways that they serve the persecuted church.
- Pray that our Mid-Year Appeal will hit its target of $1.4 million to ensure that life-changing projects for persecuted Christians can go ahead.
- Pray for those who are served by our projects, that they will be encouraged to stand strong in their faith and proclaim Jesus’ name.
