For years, Evangelist Cho* has helped refugees from North Korea, like Eun-Yeong* and Cheol-Ho*, a young couple who made the perilous journey to escape the country.
Every day, Cho hiked through the mountain forests surrounding North Korea’s border with China.
“My purpose in life is to save souls,” he said earnestly.
Cho was the couple’s first introduction to Jesus, to a safehouse, to security, and to a transformed life. After accepting Christ, they did the unexpected: they returned to North Korea to share their newfound faith.
Though he’s no longer with us, Evangelist Cho’s courage lives on in couples like Eun-Yeong and Cheol-Ho who daily risk their lives to follow Jesus.
In the world’s darkest places, faith fights to survive. Today, you can help keep it alive.
