Open Doors LIVE Podcast – Episode 70: The Hidden Persecution Of Christian Women
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Open Doors World Watch Research discovered an alarming trend in gender-specific religious persecution – a hidden epidemic of forced marriage and abuse being experienced by Christian women, targeted for both their faith and gender.
In this episode, Jocelyn Goto and producer Beth Westwood share stories from the field of persecuted women who impact their life, their suffering and how we can equip the Church to respond with love and bring restoration.
In this episode:
- How some women are systematically targetted to persecute and put pressure on the church
- Hear a harrowing story of a young girl trapped in a false marriage during COVID-19.
- How God is building His Church through remarkable, resilient women.
